چکیده
Abstract. The signal of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) can be enhanced by several orders magnitude using hyperpolarization. In comparison to a broadly used dynamic nuclear polarization (DNP) technique that is already in clinical trials, the parahydrogen (pH2)-based hyperpolarization approaches are less cost-intensive, scalable, and offer high throughput. However, pH2 generator necessary. Available commercial generators relatively expensive (EUR 10 000–150 000). To facilitate spread pH2-based studies, here we provide blueprints 3D models as open-source for low-cost <3000) 50-bar liquid-nitrogen-cooled generator.

A Child-sized 3D Printed Open-Source Robot for Research
The use of standard robotic platforms can accelerate research and lower the entry barrier for new research groups. There exist many affordable humanoid standard platforms in the lower size ranges of up to 60 cm, but larger humanoid robots quickly become less affordable and more difficult to operate, maintain and modify. The igus Humanoid Open Platform is a new and affordable, fully open-source ...

Raman and infrared spectroscopy of para-H2 to pressures in excess of 200 GPa and to 8 K using new ultrapure synthetic diamond anvils reveals numerous new vibrational excitations in the three highpressure phases. Highly resolved Raman-active librons indicate differences in orientational ordering between phases II and III, including evidence for changes within phase II. The librons in phase III a...
متن کاملThermal Modeling and Management of Liquid-Cooled 3D Stacked Architectures
3D stacked architectures are getting increasingly attractive as they improve yield, reduce interconnect power and latency, and enable integrating layers manufactured with different technologies on the same chip. However, 3D integration results in higher temperatures following the increase in thermal resistances. This chapter discusses thermal modeling and management of 3D systems with a particu...
متن کاملDesign of a 3D-printed, open-source wrist-driven orthosis for individuals with spinal cord injury
Assistive technology, such as wrist-driven orthoses (WDOs), can be used by individuals with spinal cord injury to improve hand function. A lack of innovation and challenges in obtaining WDOs have limited their use. These orthoses can be heavy and uncomfortable for users and also time-consuming for orthotists to fabricate. The goal of this research was to design a WDO with user (N = 3) and ortho...

CONCLUSION: Our results demonstrate that our novel proprietary scaffold can polarize macrophages to the M2 phenotype and deliver supraphysiologic levels of macrophages to wounds to significantly accelerate wound healing in the absence of adverse effects on scar size and quality. Polarizing macrophages on a scaffold in vivo minimizes time in cell culture and is a desirable method for simultaneo...
